August 14, 10am to 12pm “Growing Hardy Fuchsias” Lloyd Tharp, PC Master Gardener   Hardy fuchsias make a great addition to our NW Gardens. These summer blooming shrubs are easy to grow with little maintenance.

August 21, 10 am – 12pm   Are You Frightened of Your Large Trees?   Dennis Tompkins, PC Master Gardener and Certified Arborist will discuss danger signs to look for in your (or your neighbor’s) trees, hazard tree assessments and how to prepare for the coming winter storm season. Bring plenty of questions.

Garden Conservancy Olympia, WA Area Open Day – 8/21

Day passes (7 gardens for $30) will be available at all gardens on the day of the tour.
