I can identify completely with this statement. “Whereas lawnmowing or watering are chores that quickly tax my admittedly limited patience, I can stand for hours complacently chopping briars”.

Hello Liisa, Thank you for the note. I’ll have to get Ann’s book on organic gardening as I’m already planning my garden and getting the green house ready for veggie starts. I do feel overwhelmed at times, but I’m learning to better plan my time and focus on what I can do each day. Gardening offers a lot of good life lessons. Kimberly

What a wonderful, tropical retreat to recharge and gain inspiration. Beautiful photos, and I look forward to more. I too am a huge fan of Ann Lovejoy, and recently read her book “Ann Lovejoy’s Organic Garden Design School.” She is a wonderful teacher, with such amazing gardens surrounding her home. I hope you enjoy your planning, it is great fun although at times slightly overwhelming with all of the possibilities!
